What general dentistry covers
Most of what we do is routine, and that's the point. Seeing a dentist regularly means small problems get found while they're still small and cheap to fix. Left alone, a bit of decay that would take one visit and a filling can turn into a root canal, a crown, or a lost tooth.
- Check-ups and oral health examinations
- Scale, clean and polish
- White composite fillings
- Root canal treatment
- Extractions and minor oral surgery
- Wisdom teeth assessment and removal
- Children's dentistry, free up to age 18
- ACC treatment for accidental damage
Painless, and sedation if you want it
Plenty of people put off the dentist because of a bad experience years ago. We take that seriously rather than brushing it off. Our approach is built around pain control - topical numbing before injections, taking time, and explaining what's happening before it happens.
If that isn't enough, we offer sedation: relative analgesia (happy gas), oral sedation, and IV sedation. Tell us when you book and we'll plan the appointment around it rather than trying to sort it out on the day.
For locals and visitors
We look after families across Queenstown, Frankton, Arrowtown and the wider Central Otago area, and we're used to seeing people who are only in town for a while - seasonal workers, travellers and visitors who need something dealt with before they move on.
